When your drum sander needs replacement abrasive strips, we provide a set of strips which can be wrapped round the cylindrical drum.

As various drum sanders could use these abrasives,  each strip will need trimming to size to fit. Some guidelines are provided, but this may vary depending on which machine you are using. The best method is to lay the old strips on top of the new and mark where to cut.

The abrasive strips are 76mm wide and 2.5m long to wrap round the drum. These are not cut to fit as various drum sanders vary in drum size and design, and strips can be wrapped round drum clockwise or anticlockwise. Some guidelines are provided.
