How to Get The Best Results With Your Pen Sanding Kit
To maximize the benefits of your pen sanding kit, start with the coarsest grit to smooth out any rough edges or uneven surfaces on your pen blanks. Progressively move through finer grits to hone the surface, ensuring each grit removes the scratches left by the previous one. Always sand with the lathe spinning at a moderate speed to avoid heat buildup, which could damage the wood. Finally, clean the pen blanks thoroughly before applying finishes. Following these steps will help you achieve a professional-quality finish that highlights your pen’s natural beauty and craftsmanship.
